About Glanusk Estate

Glanusk Estate is a family-owned parkland estate at Crickhowell in Powys, with a licensed drawing room, a private church and marquee sites beside the River Usk.

Glanusk Park has been the home of the Legge-Bourke family since 1810 and stands in 400 acres of private parkland at Crickhowell, in Powys. The estate keeps a number of historic features, among them a private church at Penmyarth whose original bell still rings, and a walled garden that the family normally keeps for itself.

Civil ceremonies take place in the Drawing Room at Penmyarth House, which is licensed and seats 25 to 30 people. Receptions are held in a marquee, either on Penmyarth lawn overlooking the park and the River Usk, or in Tower Field beside the river with a view of the Tower. Church Falls, next to Penmyarth Church and a private stretch of the Usk, suits smaller weddings. Blessings can be held in the church, which seats 110. Catering, marquee, flowers and a wedding planner are all provided, and the house and grounds remain available when the ceremony is held elsewhere.
