Holly and Tom
Thank you from the bottom of both of our hearts. I don’t think we could have asked for a better duo to accompany us on our party of a lifetime.

Blue Ridge Films is a wedding film company run by three university friends, Steve, Tim and Nic, based in the West Midlands and filming across the UK, from the Cotswolds and Herefordshire to London, Yorkshire and Northumberland, and abroad in France and Italy.
Blue Ridge Films is Steve, Tim and Nic, three friends who met while studying at university and went on to set up the business together. They are based in the West Midlands and came to weddings from narrative filmmaking, which still shapes how they work: they treat a wedding day as a story to be told rather than an event to be recorded. They were named Wedding Videographer of the Year for the West Midlands at The Wedding Industry Awards in 2015, and Highly Commended in the same category in 2017.
Their aim is emotion. They say that if a film does not make a couple laugh or cry, they have not done their job, and they give the guests as much attention as the couple, filming reactions over drinks and around the room during the speeches. Their films lean warm and cinematic, with plenty of golden-hour light, black and white for quieter moments, and a fair share of packed dance floors.
“We don't see a couples' Wedding day as just a video. We see it as a creative film, telling the story of their day and all the emotions that come along with it.”

Two filmmakers cover the whole day. Sound matters to them: they have described running tie-clip microphones and several hidden audio sources at once, more during the speeches, so that vows and toasts come through clearly. Their recent films show drone footage at venues that allow it, from Cornwell Manor in the Cotswolds to the clifftop town of Tropea.
They cover the whole of the UK, naming the Cotswolds, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leicester, Oxford, London and Yorkshire, and their published films range from Hampton Manor and Sandon Manor near home to Herefordshire, Wiltshire, Suffolk, Cornwall, Stockton-on-Tees and Northumberland. They also work as destination videographers, with films from Manoir de Longeveau and Château Gassies in France and from Assisi and Tropea in Italy.
Couples receive a short teaser and a longer cinematic film; the full films on their channels mostly run between about five and ten minutes. They are a recommended supplier at Hampton Manor, Sandon Manor and Cripps & Co. Their most recent film, published in September 2026, follows Claire and Harry's wedding at Villa Paola above Tropea on the Calabrian coast.

Yes, where the venue allows it. Their recent films include aerial footage at venues such as Cornwell Manor, Dewsall Court and Villa Paola in Tropea, and they note that some venues have restrictions, such as a height limit at Hampton Manor.
They have described using tie-clip microphones and running several hidden audio sources at once, with more during the speeches, so the words come through clearly.
They say most couples book their videographer 12 to 18 months ahead, especially for popular dates.
They do not publish a delivery time, so ask when you enquire.
