A private Georgian mansion on a walled 40-acre estate five minutes from Kinsale, hired exclusively for weddings
Ballinacurra House is an 18th-century Georgian mansion on a walled 40-acre estate five minutes from Kinsale, hired exclusively for weddings of up to 180 guests with 22 en-suite bedrooms.
Ballinacurra House is an 18th-century Georgian mansion built around 1770, set behind ten-foot stone walls with security gates, in 40 acres of woodland and lawns less than five minutes from Kinsale in County Cork. The Manor House, the Stone Cottage and the Coach House together hold 22 en-suite bedrooms, each individually themed. A south-facing walled garden has an entertainment patio, a pizza oven, a croquet lawn, a stream and a pond, and the woods lead down to a small boat jetty on the Bandon River estuary.
The estate is only ever hired exclusively by one party, so a wedding has the whole property, its staff and a personal chef to itself. The Ballroom seats about 50 for a sit-down dinner, the Garden Room 130, and the two connected rooms up to 180. The house does not use set packages, and weddings are arranged to each couple's wishes, from civil and same-sex marriage ceremonies to blessings, vow renewals and garden weddings. There is a helipad in the grounds, Cork Airport is about 20 minutes away by road, and Kinsale's harbour and restaurants are close.
