Myl'Evasions was created in 2008 in Martinique. It began with corporate projects, including large installations and seminars abroad, before turning to private celebrations and family events.
The agency is directed by Mylène Edmond and is made up of project managers and coordinators whose earlier careers were in international tourism. Its team has handled more than 150 projects, and it works with couples from Martinique, the Americas and Europe.
Weddings take place on the beach, in a period villa, in a restaurant with a sea view or in a tropical garden. The agency designs and coordinates the whole event, from a ceremony and reception to a simple planning consultation, and calls on a network of local vendors.
Couples who want a different island can have the same service in Guadeloupe, and the team also arranges commitment ceremonies and weddings in Saint Lucia, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Anguilla. Styles run from creole chic to white-themed beach celebrations and themed ceremonies.
