Balmer Lawn Hotel & Spa is a family-run four-star hotel in the heart of the New Forest National Park, in Brockenhurst. Its wedding pages carry the strapline Rooted in the Forest. Refined by Nature, and the woodland setting is part of the day. The hotel has seven event spaces, many opening onto private terraces, and a dedicated events team that guides couples through every stage of planning. Weddings sit within a wider hotel that also has bedrooms, dining, a spa and wellness centre and leisure activities, so a wedding party can make a stay of it.
Just the Two of Us is for couples eloping or renewing their vows, Just a Few of Us for a small guest list, Enchanted Forest for a relaxed countryside wedding, and Everything but the Dress for a complete wedding at one price. A Midweek and Winter package serves couples who want to marry sooner, with a shorter lead time. Each named package comes with a dedicated Wedding Executive from first enquiry to the wedding day. The hotel also works with named partner suppliers for flowers, photography, cakes and entertainment, including Corbins Florist, based in Brockenhurst. A Banqueting Manager is named in the packages, and in-house styling support and supplier recommendations are part of the offer.

Just the Two of Us includes a private ceremony space or pavilion, with ceremony fees, alongside a Champagne reception and a three-course wedding breakfast for two with a sommelier-selected wine pairing. Just a Few of Us includes room hire for reception drinks and for the wedding meal, and the Midweek and Winter package includes room hire for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. Seated dinner is for up to 50 guests. Savernake Room has high ceilings, natural light and an adjoining terrace, and Arden Room can be part of the Savernake Suite or a standalone space. Beaulieu is the largest event space, part of a private suite of three with its own entrance, outdoor terrace and washrooms. Hamble has a private entrance, an exclusive bar, a terrace and washrooms, and can be used on its own or alongside the Beaulieu Suite. Avon sits in a quieter area with its own terrace and entrance, and the Club Room overlooks the Lodge Restaurant & Bar. The Sylvan Pavilion has covered, heated seating for outdoor dining in any season.
Every main wedding package includes a complimentary Honeymoon Suite for the couple. Just the Two of Us, Just a Few of Us, Enchanted Forest and Everything but the Dress include Spa Wellness access for the couple, and Everything but the Dress adds a first anniversary stay with Spa Wellness access. The Midweek and Winter package includes preferential accommodation rates for guests, who can stay overnight in the bedrooms and suites after an event.
Catering is in-house. Just a Few of Us and Enchanted Forest include a three-course wedding meal from the Warbler Menu, and Everything but the Dress moves up to the Nightjar Menu with toast Champagne for all guests. Evening food in Enchanted Forest is a BBQ, finger buffet or hog roast. The Midweek and Winter package includes a Prosecco reception, three canapés per guest and a two-course fork buffet. Every main package includes a menu tasting for two, and dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for when shared in advance.
