About Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel

Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome is a five-star palace hotel on Piazza della Repubblica, with eight event rooms, a rooftop pool and terrace and 232 rooms and suites.

Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome stands on Piazza della Repubblica, the circular neoclassical square designed by Gaetano Koch in 1887 around the Naiadi fountain. The hotel fills one of the twin palaces on the square, and the Clementino, a granary built in 1705 for Pope Clement XI, is incorporated into the building. The Baths of Diocletian lie beneath it, and their ruins can be seen through glass in the basement.

For weddings the hotel offers eight event rooms covering 471 square metres, including the Diocleziano and Michelangelo salons, together with a panoramic rooftop terrace and pool above the city. Symbolic ceremonies and receptions are held on site, while the legally binding civil marriage takes place at the Rome comune. Together the spaces take events of around 430 guests. Dining is at the Tazio Restaurant and Gallery Bar, or on the roof at the Posh Bar and Restaurant, and the Exedra Fusion Spa serves the wedding party. The hotel has 232 rooms and suites, and Termini station is a short walk away.

A palace on Piazza della Repubblica

The hotel occupies one of the twin neoclassical palaces on Piazza della Repubblica, the circular square designed by Gaetano Koch in 1887. Its marble facade and colonnaded ground floor face the Naiadi fountain, and the Baths of Diocletian and the basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli stand at the edge of the square.

The Clementino granary

Built into the palace is the Clementino, a granary from 1705 raised for Pope Clement XI. Original timber beams and vaulted ceilings make its suites the most distinctive rooms in the house. Below the building, the ruins of the Baths of Diocletian can be seen through glass in the basement.

Eight event rooms and a rooftop

Weddings use eight event rooms covering 471 square metres, among them the Diocleziano and Michelangelo salons, and the panoramic rooftop terrace above the Roman skyline. Symbolic ceremonies and receptions fill both, with a dedicated events team handling every detail from floral arrangements to entertainment.

Frequently asked questions

Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel

How many guests can the hotel host for a wedding?

The eight event rooms cover 471 square metres, and together with the rooftop terrace they take events of around 430 guests. The events team shapes each wedding around the couple and their numbers.

What ceremony options are there?

Symbolic ceremonies take place in the event salons or on the rooftop terrace above the city. The legally binding civil marriage is held at the Rome comune and arranged separately, and the hotel organises the celebration around it.

Is there a rooftop for the celebration?

Yes. The rooftop pool and terrace look over Rome, the Baths of Diocletian and the city's domes, and serve for outdoor receptions, aperitivi and evening events.

What is the Clementino?

It is a granary built in 1705 for Pope Clement XI and now part of the hotel. Its suites keep the original timber beams and vaulted stone.

Can the whole hotel be taken exclusively?

No. It is an operating hotel of 232 rooms, so weddings use the event rooms and the rooftop. The events team works to keep the celebration private and tailored.

What does a wedding cost?

Each wedding is priced around the couple, the date, the guest numbers and the spaces chosen, so the events team prepares a proposal for every couple.

What is the dining like?

The Tazio Restaurant and Gallery Bar serves Italian cooking beneath photographs by Tazio Secchiaroli. On the roof, the Posh Bar and Restaurant offers cocktails and seafood beside the pool. Wedding menus are designed with the kitchen team.

Where is the hotel and what is close by?

It faces the Naiadi fountain on Piazza della Repubblica, with the Baths of Diocletian at the door and Termini station a short walk away. The Colosseum is about 15 minutes away, and Fiumicino airport about 40 minutes.
