An 18th-century masseria

Tenuta Pinto stands in the landscape around Mola di Bari, in Apulia, and reflects the elegance and scale of 18th-century Italy. This ancient masseria has been restored with care to keep its character, and it works with Apulian hospitality and cooking. Every event is shaped to feel personal, with a sense of belonging. In the Apulian countryside, Tenuta Pinto offers a setting for love, celebration and being together. The Puglia Wedding Atlas covers the region.

A setting for love

At the heart of the estate’s appeal is its offer as a wedding venue. There are several locations within the grounds, from the olive grove to the fienile (the barn) and the illuminated outdoor courtyard, and the estate suits civil ceremonies and outdoor weddings. Each space within the masseria is made so that the day becomes an event and a journey into Apulian nature and tradition. More about the estate is on its website.

The estate is a backdrop for a country wedding. Couples can exchange vows among ancient olive trees, celebrate with family and friends, and take in the white stone architecture typical of the region.

The whole property can be taken for exclusive use, and weddings of all sizes are welcome, with no minimum number of guests and up to 200 at the largest. Catering is in house, so the estate’s own kitchen serves every wedding, and there is a car park at the entrance.

Open to every couple

Tenuta Pinto welcomes all couples, on the principle that love is universal. The estate’s commitment to inclusion and to making plans come true shows in every detail, from the organisation of events to the warmth with which each guest is received.

The kitchen of Chef Giuseppe Pedone

The cooking is led by Executive Chef Giuseppe Pedone. His philosophy rests on tradition, authenticity and the sensory journey of ingredients, and he has brought his international experience back to his native region to make authentic, sensorial dishes.

The masseria cooks with km0 (zero-kilometre) ingredients, so every meal draws on genuine produce and Apulian traditions.

Apulian flavours

At Tenuta Pinto the meal begins with a welcome aperitif, followed by a chef’s cooking show and a selection of appetisers that show what Apulia produces. Each dish is presented in typical Apulian booths and reflects the region’s flavours and ingredients. Guests can choose from cold cuts and cheeses to raw fish and fresh vegetables from the estate’s garden.

Sustainable and run by a family

The estate’s philosophy centres on sustainability and a strong connection with the land. Wedding dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients from the estate’s garden, which ties the kitchen to the region’s farming traditions. The Pinto family is committed to eco-sustainability and quality, and this shows in every part of the estate, from the care of the land to the warmth and professionalism of the team.

Every room is made with an emphasis on comfort and style, so that guests can enjoy the Apulian countryside in peace.

The estate has seven rooms and suites in all, which sleep 21 guests between them. The Superior Room, called Glicine, measures 48 square metres on the ground floor, with a double bed and two singles for up to four guests, a shower room and a private garden.

The Pinto family

The vision and dedication of Domenico Pinto and his wife Isabella have made Tenuta Pinto a place for love and celebration in Apulia. Their interest in agricultural traditions and their attention to detail have made the estate a home for everyone who visits.

Tenuta Pinto is more than a venue. It brings together Apulia’s landscape, the richness of its cooking and the idea that love is a shared language, and it is open to couples from anywhere in the world.
