The valley is a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of vineyards, wheat fields and hilltop villages, and the property stands among them at the end of a dirt road.
Weddings use the garden, the pergola by the pool, the wheat field and a lavender field for ceremonies, and the courtyard, gardens and fields for receptions of up to 200 seated guests. The Taverna di Mozart, the in-house restaurant in the old stable, takes up to 60 indoors. Nine rooms and suites let the wedding party stay on site, and the whole property can be rented as a villa for 1 to 24 people.

A mansion in the Val d'Orcia
The building is a private country mansion from the seventeenth century, renovated in keeping with Tuscan tradition. It stands in the Val d'Orcia, close to the medieval village of Castiglione d'Orcia, and its courtyard is reached by a dirt road. The valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site of vineyards, wheat fields and hilltop villages.
Ceremonies and receptions
Symbolic and civil ceremonies can be held in the garden, at the pergola by the pool, in the wheat field with open views of the valley, or in the lavender field. Receptions take place in the courtyard, the gardens and the wheat field, for up to 200 seated guests, and the Taverna di Mozart takes up to 60 indoors. For a religious ceremony the property points to the historic churches nearby and to the Vitaleta Chapel, part of the Dolcevita Valdorcia collection.
Staying on site
The property has nine rooms in five categories, in the main building and in a separate dependance near the pool: Deluxe, Deluxe with view, Grand Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite. The beds are handcrafted by local artisans without metal, and guests choose linen or cotton sheets before they arrive. Pets are welcome.
The restaurant
The Taverna di Mozart is the in-house restaurant, in the old stable with an outdoor terrace beside the pool. It serves traditional Tuscan dishes and regional wines, and a more contemporary menu is available through Vitaleta Gourmet, part of the Dolcevita Valdorcia collection.
