MR Music Italy provides live music for couples marrying in Italy and internationally. Marco, the founder and lead vocalist, handles every booking and works with each couple from the first enquiry to the final song.
The day can be covered from start to finish. A string quartet plays the ceremony, a trio of violin, accordion and guitar roams the cocktail hour, a live band of five to eight players takes the reception, and a DJ keeps the late-night floor moving between sets.
Based in Rome, the ensemble has played villas, castles, vineyards and five-star hotels across Tuscany, Umbria, Campania, Sicily and beyond. Each programme is built around the venue, the atmosphere and the music the couple love, with custom playlists, live requests and first dance arrangements.
The team also runs the sound system and microphones through the day, including the speeches at dinner. Repertoire runs from classical and contemporary pieces for the ceremony, through jazz, Italian classics and pop for cocktails, to soul, funk, jazz and pop for the dance floor.
