About Villa Mosconi Bertani

Villa Mosconi Bertani is an 18th-century wine estate at Arbizzano di Negrar, fifteen minutes from Verona, with a frescoed Chamber of the Muses, an eight-hectare park and a hall that seats 160.

Villa Mosconi Bertani stands at Arbizzano di Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella, fifteen minutes from Verona and a short drive from Lake Garda. The Fattori family began the villa around 1735 beside an older cellar, the Mosconi completed it in 1769 and added an eight-hectare English-style park, and the Bertani family bought and restored it in 1957. It remains a working wine estate, with historic cellars and vineyards around the house, and it hosted a literary salon in the 18th century.

For weddings, the twelve rooms of the villa all sit on the ground floor. The Chamber of the Muses, frescoed in the 18th century, holds 100 guests, and the Antica Tinaia, the old barrel room, seats up to 160 for a dinner. Civil ceremonies with legal value can be held in the villa, the two gardens or the park, and the San Gaetano church seats 70 for Protestant ceremonies. The estate offers catering, floral design, music, photography and transport, and can arrange tastings in the historic cellars.
