My name is Holly and I am the proud owner of the award winning ‘Cake Design by Holly Miller’. We are based in Somerset, deliver nationally and specialise in exclusive and unique wedding cake design.
As a child, I fondly remember my mum always baking beautiful cakes for our birthdays.
That passion was inevitably passed down to me, and I started baking for my children’s birthdays and quickly fell in love with cake decorating. In January 2016, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business.
With my passion for stunning things and my romantic, heart-on-the-sleeve attitude, I was drawn to the beauty and magic of the ‘wedding cake’. Theatrical, eye-catching and whimsical. Everything I wanted to create!
Designing wedding cakes is such a lovely job to have, and it is always such an honour to help my couples piece together and bring to life their ideas, plans and dreams for their big day.
It is such an exciting feeling on the day of delivery. When you drive up to the most beautiful venues, step inside, take in the hubbub of set up, and feel that anticipation of your couple’s day. You then put your cake in place and take a step back, take a deep breath and relish in the knowledge that ‘I made that!’ That feeling of knowing you have contributed to a couple’s special day and that unity of love and the start of their new life together is just fantastic. Nearly six years on we are now recognised as one of the leading cake designers in the Somerset of England.
I feel fortunate to work with some of the most passionate, talented and fabulous wedding suppliers. I am also ridiculously proud that I am a recommended supplier for several prestigious wedding venues, including Crowcombe Court, Orchardleigh, Brympton House and Lucknam Park.
