The venues

How the collection is chosen

A London venue appears here only after an editor has checked that its record is complete, that it has at least ten photographs and a written introduction, and that it publishes a seated dinner capacity. These are minimum standards, not a ranking. The cards follow the recommended order, with venues that have a checked starting price and reviews first and then by name, and no venue pays to rank higher. Editors review the list and can add or remove a venue whenever the facts change.
