Wedding In Yellow Vintage is built around one vehicle: a restored Fiat 500 convertible in bright yellow, with an ivory and brown hand made leather interior, frog eye headlights, alloy wheels and a folding hood. It is based in Sorrento and works along the coast to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Capri.
The car is booked for one event a day, so it is never rushed between jobs. A booking covers four hours, and the price does not change if the couple need it for less time. The owner drives, which means the car is not available for self drive hire, and the driver stays with the car throughout.
On the wedding day the Fiat 500 is dressed with a white seasonal flower arrangement, an antique leather suitcase and a Just Married sign on the boot. It waits outside the ceremony, takes the couple to photograph in scenic spots along the coast, and then delivers them to the reception venue. It can also take the bridesmaids to the ceremony beforehand.
The car is also hired for engagement and pre-wedding shoots, honeymoon shoots on the Amalfi Coast, proposals, Instagram and Polaroid shoots, and for film and advertising work. Couples can ask for their initials on the boot, and extra items can be added on request.
