Borgo Bucciano
A restored 17th-century hamlet in the hills of San Miniato, between Pisa and Florence
5.02 reviewsA private Tuscan hamlet built around a 17th-century villa, with a consecrated chapel, an Italian garden, a pool and eleven apartments for the wedding party.
Borgo Bucciano is a hamlet in the hills of San Miniato, halfway between Pisa and Florence. It dates from the 1600s, when it grew up around a villa and a farmhouse, and after careful restoration the historic Villa Lorenzelli and the old Fattoria form its core. The villa has elegant reception rooms, an Italian garden with a consecrated chapel and a panoramic terrace, and a pool sits among the olive groves and cypresses below the buildings.
Weddings can be held in the chapel garden, on the terrace, in the olive grove, in the central piazzetta or beside the pool, with the rooms of the villa and the cantina ready for dinner if the weather turns. Receptions of up to 300 guests are possible. Tuscan menus are cooked in-house and served with wine and extra virgin olive oil from the estate. The whole hamlet can be taken for exclusive use, with eleven apartments for the wedding party, a gym and free private parking on site.

Ceremonies can be held in front of the chapel in the Italian garden, on the panoramic terrace, in the olive grove or in the central piazzetta, and dinner can be laid on the terrace, in the rooms of the villa or in the cantina. Indoor rooms are ready if the weather turns.

What guests say
Beautiful Wedding Location
We attended Bucciano for our daughter's wedding in July. Beautiful Wedding location with outstanding views of some of the Tuscany area as the Villa/Apartment complex is very high up in the countryside. We comfortably catered for 80, with approximately 40 staying in the venue. Plenty of accommodation is available in two hotels nearby in San Miniato, a beautiful village/small town with numerous historic sites/churches.
