One car, one event a day
Wedding In Yellow Vintage is built around a single vehicle: a restored Fiat 500 convertible in bright yellow, with an ivory and brown handmade leather interior, frog-eye headlights, alloy wheels and a folding hood. It is based in Sorrento and works along the coast to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Capri.
The car
The interior is ivory quilted leather, with a cream steering wheel and dashboard. The car is booked for one event a day, so it is never rushed between jobs. A booking covers four hours, and the price does not change if the couple need it for less time.
The wedding day
On the day the Fiat 500 is dressed with a white seasonal flower arrangement, an antique leather suitcase and a Just Married sign on the boot. It waits outside the ceremony, takes the couple to photograph in scenic spots along the coast, and then delivers them to the reception venue. The owner drives, and the driver stays with the car throughout.
Capri, Amalfi and beyond the wedding
The car is also hired for engagement and pre-wedding shoots, honeymoon shoots on the Amalfi Coast, proposals and film work. Couples can ask for their initials on the boot, and extra items can be added on request. Hire is quoted for each booking.
