Anna Chiatto
Anna Chiatto Wedding Planner is a Rome studio founded in 2015 by a former film industry event producer.
Weddings they planned, from their own films
Anna Chiatto
Anna Chiatto spent ten years managing private events for Italy's film industry, including productions led by the director Fausto Brizzi, before she turned to weddings. She opened her planning studio in Rome in 2015, and the habits of a film set came with her: coordinating many suppliers under pressure and keeping every element pointed at a single picture.
The studio is deliberately small. Anna leads each wedding herself, working with senior planner Roberto, whose background lies in hospitality and the arts of Sorrento, and junior planner Sara, who brings a fashion sensibility and international experience. The planner who designs a wedding is the one present on the day.
“Dreams do not come true. They are built.”
Anna Chiatto, Founder
Weddings take place in Rome, Tuscany and Umbria, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Puglia and Sicily, with further work in Cinque Terre, Sardinia and on the islands of Ponza and Capri. The studio also plans destination weddings outside Italy, adapting the same service to each location.
Styling is part of the offer rather than an extra. Colour palettes, florals, lighting, linen and tableware are drawn together under one creative direction, so the day reads as a single composition. In 2016 Anna also published a debut novel, Ti amo ma niente di serio, inspired by her years as a planner.
From the first message to the day itself
- 01Discovery consultation
Each engagement opens with a direct conversation about the couple's vision, preferred location, timing and any suppliers they already have in mind.
- 02Venues and suppliers
The studio scouts and tours venues, shortlists settings and sources suppliers, negotiating contracts on the couple's behalf.
- 03Design and logistics
Budget and timeline are set, design direction and styling are coordinated, and hotel room blocks, transport and guest logistics are arranged.
- 04Legal guidance
For couples marrying in Italy, the team advises on civil and religious ceremony requirements and handles the paperwork with the local authorities.
- 05The wedding day
Anna and her team supervise the day from arrival to the last guest, briefing suppliers and running the timeline and floor plan.

How far ahead should we book?
For full planning on peak-season dates in May, June, September and October, the studio recommends booking 12 to 18 months ahead. Smaller celebrations and elopements generally need around 6 months, and weddings outside Italy are timed case by case.
Which parts of Italy does the studio cover?
Rome, Tuscany, Umbria, the Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Puglia, Sicily, Cinque Terre and Sardinia, as well as island weddings on Ponza and Capri.
Can the studio plan a wedding outside Italy?
Yes. Destination weddings abroad are part of the work, with the same level of service and supplier coordination.
Can foreign couples marry legally in Italy?
Yes. The team explains the civil and religious requirements, manages the administrative steps and deals with the local authorities for the couple.
What does full-service planning include?
Venue scouting, supplier sourcing and contracts, budget and timeline, design direction, hotel room blocks, transport, legal guidance, rehearsal management and supervision on the day.
Can the studio work with suppliers we have already chosen?
Yes. Preferred photographers, videographers, florists or caterers can be briefed and managed alongside the studio's own suppliers.
Do you plan small weddings and elopements?
Yes. Intimate ceremonies and elopements receive the same care as large celebrations.
How many weddings has the studio planned?
More than 100 since 2015, in Italy and internationally.
