Agriturismo Cima alla Serra is a working olive estate set 300 metres above sea level on the slopes below Monte Serra, above the village of Buti and about 30 minutes from Pisa. Panoramic terraces face the olive groves and the Tuscan plain, and century-old pines, gardens and a 22-metre infinity pool complete the grounds. The estate makes its own extra-virgin olive oil, which has won awards.
Weddings are held on an exclusive-use basis, so the whole property belongs to the couple. Civil ceremonies take place on the panoramic terrace, and celebrations fill the gardens and the pool area for up to 100 guests outdoors, or 50 indoors. Menus are farm-to-table Tuscan, served on the terrace or in the Taverna. Guests stay in eight apartments named after olive cultivars, with terracotta floors, beams and Carrara marble, and Lucca and the coast are within easy reach. Rooms start from €100 per night with breakfast, and several apartments have a kitchenette, so a wedding party can settle in for a few days among the olive trees.
