Villa Il Cerretino is a private villa in the hills outside Florence, at Poggio a Caiano in the province of Prato, with extensive gardens and views over the countryside, villages and the city in the distance. The interiors are furnished with a very strong focus on art and design. The furniture was designed in the 70s by Poltronova and sits in harmony with paintings and sculptures of Italian Pop Art from the 60s. The villa works both as a wedding and event venue and as a vacation rental, and its indoor and outdoor spaces come in different sizes. Expert event staff create and personalise each event around the client's preferences, requests and group size.
The private setting suits other celebrations as well as weddings, such as an important birthday, a graduation or a retirement with friends and family. Ceremonies in church, secular ceremonies and symbolic rites can all be arranged, either on the property or nearby. The extensive grounds can host wedding receptions with hundreds of guests, and the inside event spaces mean an event does not depend on the weather. The house is surrounded by nature and filled with masterpieces of art and design, with a chapel on the property, gardens and an outdoor swimming pool. In autumn the hills fill with warm tones, which suits intimate weddings.

Ceremonies
Ceremonies in chapel and Nymphaeum
Church ceremonies, including baptisms, communions and weddings, can be held at the Church of Bonistallo, a few minutes away, or in the small villa chapel on the property. Secular ceremonies such as civil unions, blessings and symbolic rites take place at the Nymphaeum in the Belvedere Garden, an outdoor setting that overlooks the Medici Villa of Poggio a Caiano with Florence in the distance.

From Garden of the Well to Winter Garden
The Garden of the Well is a large outdoor space, and anniversary dinners can be organised there. Inside, the villa has event spaces that comfortably accommodate up to 250 people, for any event in any weather. The Winter Garden has windows overlooking the Garden of the Well. It is kept cool by air conditioning in summer and warm by heating and a large fireplace in winter.

Married at the Nymphaeum
The villa is a registered civil venue, and ceremonies are held at the Nymphaeum in the Belvedere Garden facing the Medici villa.
