About Palazzetto Rosso

Palazzetto Rosso is a boutique design hotel inside a medieval red-brick tower in central Siena, with vaulted halls, a wine cantina, a rooftop terrace and around twenty rooms and suites.

Palazzetto Rosso is a boutique design hotel built into a medieval red-brick tower and palazzo in the historic centre of Siena, a short walk from the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo. Contemporary colour, sculpture and red lacquer sit against old stone and brick, and several of the roughly twenty rooms and suites have frescoed ceilings. A tower staircase, vaulted halls and a brick wine cantina give the building its character.

Weddings here are intimate and design-led. Ceremonies of up to around 60 guests take place in the stone and brick-vaulted halls, and seated dinners of around 50 are laid beneath the arches, with smaller dinners and tastings of Chianti and Tuscan wine in the cantina. The rooftop terrace looks across Siena's terracotta roofs to the Torre del Mangia and the cupola of the Duomo, and serves for drinks as the light softens. Being small, the hotel can be taken over so the couple and their closest guests stay together. Florence and Pisa airports are about an hour and a quarter away.
