Choosing a wedding venue

01

Hotel, resort or country house?

The type of venue shapes the whole wedding: who else is there, where guests sleep, and how the day moves from ceremony to dinner. Venues include 134 hotels (exclusive use at 65, rooms for guests at 104); 67 resorts (exclusive use at 22, rooms for guests at 47); 54 country houses (exclusive use at 49, rooms for guests at 43). With exclusive use the property is yours; elsewhere, ask which rooms and gardens are private on the day.
