Choosing a wedding venue

01

Hotel, resort or country house?

The type of venue shapes the whole wedding: who else is there, where guests sleep, and how the day moves from ceremony to dinner. Venues include 149 hotels (exclusive use at 72, rooms for guests at 114); 74 resorts (exclusive use at 23, rooms for guests at 53); 73 country houses (exclusive use at 59, rooms for guests at 58). With exclusive use the property is yours; elsewhere, ask which rooms and gardens are private on the day.
